HAPPY BIRTHDAY MASON!! As of 11:11AM this morning you are no longer a baby, even though you have been acting like a toddler for awhile now. We LOVE you more than you know. It makes me sad to see you enter this next chapter, but also excited to see what you will do and say next.
Weight: We went to the doctor this morning. Mason is weighing in at 23lbs and 8oz at the 82%. That is 16lbs heavier than his birth weight of 7lbs 8oz.
Height: He wasn’t nearly as tall as I thought he was going to be but still tall. He is 31” tall and that puts him in the 90%.
Clothes: Mason is wearing a variety of sizes right now from 18 month pants to 12 month shirts to 18 month pjs. Really it just depends on the brand.
Eats: Whatever he can put into his little mouth. He basically eats anything we are eating. He is not very picky, but I have noticed in the last few meals he hasn’t been shoveling food down his throat like we don’t feed him anymore.
Sleeps: We sleep now from 7-6:30. We had a few rough weeks where Mason was waking up a lot, but not he is back to his old ways of sleeping and going down easily.
What he is enjoying: Walking, opening cabinets. He loves trying to stick things like balls or his pacifier into other objects like a cup or he has a toy wagon that he puts toys into. He is also very much enjoying my dad, his papaw. It is super sweet. If we are all in a room together my kiddo will pick papaw over everyone else.
Teeth: 7 teeth total with one molar still trying to come in and his other bottom lateral.
Talking: He says mama, dada, papa, and gah (which is gabby). He started saying up and duck recently. I think he is trying to say Thank You, which we say a lot to him.
