Week 26

IMG_0367[1]

Since I was traveling again all week, it was hard to get a picture with the chalkboard.  The chalkboard should be back next week, but in the meantime…Here is a picture taken about 4-5 weeks apart.  The one on the right was from week 26.

How far along? 26 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 12 lbs (Doctor’s office scale)
Maternity clothes? Yes.
Stretch marks? No-Thank goodness.
Sleep: I can sleep only on my left side or my back.  The baby has been hanging out on my right side and it makes for a very uncomfortable sleep.
Best moment this week: Went to the doctor and heard the baby’s heartbeat again.  I just love those times.
Miss Anything? A great glass of wine.  I also miss sneaking by people in lines…my belly bumps everything.
Movement: Lots of movement.
Food cravings: Nothing this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Smelly people on flights.  Seriously I got stuck next to a guy that smelled so bad for 3 hours!
Feelings: I am having pains in my lower chest area.  It is a pulling feeling.  I am also having some swelling in my legs.  Traveling does not help with the swelling problems.
Gender: We are not going to find out.
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I guess I am just happy all the time.  I am happy but more opinionated or less tolerant.
Looking forward to: I am looking forward to getting my glucose test results.  I am also looking forward to going to the doctor every two weeks.  That’s twice a month I will get to hear the baby’s heartbeat!

About Us

My photo
Michael and I have been together since 2006. We met in college at the University of Arkansas and began our life together. We bought a house and moved to Fayetteville from the Chicagoland area in November 2009. We were married in 2010 and had our first child, a boy, in 2013. Our favorite thing to do together is travel and we have gotten the opportunity to go to lots of fun places. We are working, breathing, playful parents. Our fur baby and child are the center of our crazy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
