Week 23

We are coming up on 6 months! I can’t even begin to think how half a year with Mason has almost come and gone.  We will be having fun on the beach for his 6th Month Birthday in Destin! I am excited to see what Mason thinks about sand and the ocean.  We already know he LOVES the pool. 

This past week has been a little rough.  Mason got his first ever illness.  It was sad.  He had a rash and low fever.  He actually never really acted like he felt bad at all.  He was just a little extra fussy in the afternoons.  His sitter came over to help out last week, so I could work and Mason could still get lots of snuggles.  Now that Mason is 100% better, his Mama has a little sinus problem going on.  Can you pass things through a phone?  Pretty sure one of my colleagues has the same thing and she is located in WA.  Oh well!

This is right after I picked him up from school the first day of his sickness.  He slept all afternoon, which was great for this working Mama.Check out these blue eyes.  So big and so blue!This is little man at the doctor.  Check out those bumps.This is what Mason thought about the grape flavor of his medicine.  I might be sick but I will still smile!This is his best performance of poor pathetic me.Check out how bad his rash got on Day 2.  No fever this day, but the rash got worse. Hanging out on the floor playing before bed.Sickness…I got no sickness.Nana and Papaw came to visit for the afternoon to play with little man.We went to the pool at his Grandma’s house.  Mason loved swimming.  Kicking those feet.Loves me those smiles.

Sleepy baby went with Daddy to get coffee.  Mason looks like he needs a coffee.Eating dinner.  Using those fingers to feel that food.Hanging outside enjoying the nice weather.Notice the same smirk.  Wonder where he gets it. Playing with Mommy and Daddy is so much fun!
