It has been a very long week. Last Friday, Michael’s grandfather passed away. We have been keeping busy, between work, visitations, and a funeral it has just been crazy. We took Mason with us to the visitation but not the funeral. I didn’t really want to take him to the visitation but we didn’t want to get a sitter, so he came with us and he hung out with the iPad (Jungle Book) and a coloring book and snacks. Kid was set. He actually did really great. I was very impressed with him and when we left he handed out some much needed hugs to his Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother and Great Uncle. It was sweet and I could tell it made a difference. It is amazing what the love of a toddler can do to bring up spirits. I am glad Michael made the decision to take him.
