Gulf Shores BabyMoon

The month of November was just so busy for Michael and I.  I had my final work trips, a vacation, and Thanksgiving.  Needless to say we spent the majority of the month away from home.  I will say it helped keep my mind off my ever growing belly and the fact that we are getting closer and closer to the end.  Michael took two weeks of vacation in November, and he spent one week with me in Virginia for work and the other week we went to Gulf Shores, AL with my parents.

It was my first time to Gulf Shores and I have to say it was a very nice vacation.  It was cool weather, so no sun bathing or swimming for us, but it was a great get away and time off from work.  Michael and my Dad played golf a few days and my Mom and I did some movie watching and shopping.  They have a great outlet mall there.  We spent most of the time just relaxing and sitting outside enjoying the waves crashing.  Nothing too exciting, which is a complete change of pace from our normal vacations.  It was much needed before baby Sperry joins our world and creates a big fuss.

  1. Going to the beach to get some fresh air and relax is a good way of preparing yourself for motherhood. Gulf Shore’s indeed a good place to go, even if it’s cold, because there lots of things you can do. You can go shopping, watch a movie, go fishing, play golf, and a whole lot more. Congratulations! I’m sure you’ll be a great mom!

About Us

My photo
Michael and I have been together since 2006. We met in college at the University of Arkansas and began our life together. We bought a house and moved to Fayetteville from the Chicagoland area in November 2009. We were married in 2010 and had our first child, a boy, in 2013. Our favorite thing to do together is travel and we have gotten the opportunity to go to lots of fun places. We are working, breathing, playful parents. Our fur baby and child are the center of our crazy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
